DAY 1 TUMPAK SEWU

• 04:30- 05:00 AM Pick-up from hotel/train station/airport in Malang

• 05:00-07:30 AM Drive to Tumpak Sewu via Dampit (approx. 2.5 hours)

• 07:30-08:00 AM Arrive at Tumpak Sewu, safety briefing and trekking prep

  • Hike down to the waterfall base

  • 30 Minutes walk to Waterfall

• 09:00-11:45 AM  Explore Tumpak Sewu

• 12:00-12:30 PM Explore Goa Tetes Cave (Optional)

  • 15 Minutes walk to Goa Tetes

• 13:15-14:00 PM Hike back up + shower & local lunch

• 14:00-15:00 PM Tumpak Sewu panorama viewpoint for photos

DAY 2  BROMO

Important notes

• Trekking Required – The Tumpak Sewu area involves hiking through steep and wet terrain. A moderate fitness level is recommended.

• Proper Gear – Wear anti-slip shoes, waterproof clothing, and bring a dry bag to protect your electronics.

• Cold Weather in Bromo – Temperatures during sunrise at Bromo can drop below 10°C. Bring warm layers, gloves, and a head cover.

• Limited Signal – Some areas, especially in the mountains and waterfall zones, have little or no phone reception.

• Cash is Essential – Bring enough cash for personal needs, as many small shops and areas have no card or digital payment options.
